Yes, a steam airplane engine! You can't imagine our amazement when we walked into the Warner Robins Air Force Museum and beheld a steam aviation engine on display.

It struck me as being so unique, I decided a half scale model of it was a must.

Original Engine in Museum
Early 1900's steam aircraft engine on display at the Warner Robins Air Force Museum in Warner Robins GA. Little is known about this engine except what is posted on the sign before it.
Note: The size of the propeller listed on the sign is not correct. The actual size of the prop measures approx. 60 1/2 in.
